Welcome and Thank you for stopping by the Area #1 web-site!

My name is Dan Jordan and I am the Area #1 Vice President. I joined the Legion Riders after participating in several Patriot Guard rides and learning that the Legion Riders were responsible for getting the PGR started. Over the past 5 years, I have seen a lot of healing of veterans who have been part of welcome homes, the Run to the Wall, and flag lines at funerals.
The American Legion Riders are a group of veterans and families of veterans that support veteran-causes: serving BBQ at Yountville VA hospital, delivering WWII hero ashes, participating in hometown parades, and much more. The Legion Riders are directly connected to the American Legion and have helped in the growth and continuation of many American Legion posts. We are not bar-hoppers and our politics are few. We are just veterans who enjoy helping other veterans and active-duty families and love to ride motorcycles! What could be more fun that doing God's work on a motorcycle?
